Why do Sluggs cost less than the rest?

Slugg is online only. We don't lease expensive showrooms or sales people and we've cut out the middle man.

Can I purchase Slugg pots individually?

No, Slugg pots are sold as a cluster of 3 in one box.

Do you offer trade or wholesale?

No, Slugg is only available online at the prices listed and is not available for resale.

Are Slugg garden pots Carbon Neutral?

Yes! We’ve put our money where our mouth is. Slugg is 100% Carbon Neutral and we’re committed to designing beautiful products that save the planet. Our business and all of our products have been certified by Climate Active Australia as 100% Carbon Neutral.

Do you have a physical showroom?

Slugg is a 100% online business. Without the need for expensive showrooms and retail spaces, we’re able to keep the prices down.

Are Slugg pots handmade?

Yes, all of our pots are handmade using moulds. Slugg pots are finished and painted by hand too.

What are they made out of?

Our pots are made of poly-resin making them extremely strong, waterproof and lightweight. Slugg pots can be used indoors and outdoors.

Are they waterproof?

Yes, Slugg pots are waterproof as long as you’ve planted your pots as per our instructions.

Do they have drainage holes?

Yes, each pot comes with 2 x 30mm drainage holes. This ensures that as long as you followed our planted guide, your plants will never sit in wet feet.

Do you offer payment options?

Yes! We have several trusted payment options including Afterpay, Apple Pay and PayPal.

Do Slugg pots come with pot feet and drainage screen?

Pot feet or drainage screen is not included. However, you can purchase drainage kits for $10 via the product pages. Alternatively, We recommend using 10mm thick plastic window packers as pot feet, and fibreglass fly-screen as drainage screen.

Delivery & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

We provide free delivery to metro areas. We charge $99 to all other areas deemed Zone 2. At this stage, we cannot send Sluggs to NT or TAS. Due to the recent increased cost of shipping due to fuel levies, we cannot send to some rural areas, however, please email, and we will provide you with a quote. As a rough guide, rural shipping costs between $159 - $299.

Why do you charge for delivery outside of metro?

We go to great lengths to ensure your Sluggs don't arrive broken. Delivering to areas outside of metro requires that we send your order on a small pallet to ensure your Sluggs don't break in transit. Unfortunately, this increases the delivery cost threefold.

What happens if my Sluggs arrive damaged?

We’ve 100% got your back. If your pots arrive damaged, simply get in touch with us and we’ll either refund you or send you another set. Simply send an email to

How are Sluggs packaged?

Your Slugg pot cluster will arrive in a single cardboard box which is 50cm x 50xm x 60cm H. Your entire delivery is 100% carbon neutral. If your order is being sent to Zones 2 or 3, your order may arrive on a timber pallet. It is the custmers responsibility to remove the pallet from site.

Why is my postcode is in the wrong shipping zone?

Slugg uses a 3rd party transport provider who is responsible for assigning which postcodes fall within each zone. We are, therefore, unable to reassign your postcode to a different zone. We apologise if you feel your postcode has been incorrectly allocated; however, it is outside our control.

Will I receive tracking information for my order?

Yes! Metro locations will receive a text message confirming a suitable delivery time followed by updates as your order progresses. Orders outside of metro areas will receive a tracking number from our transport provider. Please be aware that what constitutes metro and non-metro is decided by our delivery partners, so you may receive either a text or simply a tracking number.

Can they be used indoors & outside?

Yes, Slugg garden pots are suitable for use outdoors in rain, hail, sun or snow. They also look great indoors.

How do I stop water leaking out the base?

If you’re using your Slugg garden planters inside and don’t want any water run-off; the best solution is to purchase some cheap plastic pot trays from your local garden centre or hardware store. Depending on your preference, either place the pot tray inside your Slugg garden pot or underneath.
